When we launched our first site with e-commerce in April 1995 we were one of the world’s first 100 e-commerce companies. Today we are Europe’s largest flowers by wire network and we have networks in 12 European markets. E-commerce is in the company’s DNA and every day we work hard to exceed the expectations of our customers and florists and to spread happiness and joy through flowers – anywhere, anytime.

The Role

As an e-commerce manager Germany & Austria in The Netherlands you are an important part of the e-commerce team and you will report to the e-commerce manager lead as well as work closely together with other e-commerce managers, marketing specialists, content & campaign specialists, UX & design, data/analytics, product and further departments in the daily operations of the German & Austrian Euroflorist site.

You will have the ownership of both sites. You are a result driven and structured person who has excellent e-commerce,  analytical skills and understanding how to run a customer centric e-commerce operation. Keywords as conversion, bounce rates, sessions, traffic source, average order value, but also customer LTV, NPS are known to you.

Today you might be working in a similar online role, and you are looking to develop yourself further together with a company that has 20 years of e-commerce experience and is developing a world class e-commerce experience. You are also very excited about developing with a company that has presence in 11 European markets and 8 different languages. You like to be hands on and get things done.

The role will be based in our office in Amsterdam (Netherlands).

Task

Responsible for German & Austrian online sales.
Main KPI: CR & AOV. Supporting Kpis: NPS, Traffic, Margins, LTV, reach…
Responsible for ensuring that targets set by yourself together with the team are met
Analyzing web statistics and deriving actions
Strategic planning for the business in the German & Austrian market.
Working with product owner, UX, CRO to improve conversion rate and follow up website projects
Communication and negotiations with partners

Requirements

You are “online”, agile.
You know more about Scrum than just knowing it is a buzzword.
Fluent in German & English – preferable native German or Austrian or with work experience with German/Austrian market. Dutch is not required.
Customer, data driven.
Structured, with great attention to detail
An enthusiastic team player and the ability to work alone where required
Ability to manage time to ensure delivery of projects within deadlines
Experience with Google Analytics or similar.
Experience, or at least some knowledge about online marketing, content marketing, social marketing, but also UX, CRO & scrum processes.
Keeps up to date with latest trends knowledge and learnings within your field

The Role

As a content specialist Germany & Austria in The Netherlands you are an important part of the online team and you will work closely together with the e-commerce manager, campaign designers, product, data/analytics, customer service and further departments in the daily operations of the German & Austrian Euroflorist sites.

You own content in all type of campaigns within the german Language, to be used in marketing or e-commerce for our German and Austrian business. You love to own the content strategy, applying it from Social, to performance based marketing, on (SEO) landing pages, to any automated or mass mail. You envision the strength of a good “copy” and reuse it in a subtle way to make the experience “one” for our customer. See-Think-Do-Care is in your skill set; you love a good Get-to-by (or similar approach ;-)

You are a result driven and structured person who has excellent writing skills, analytical skills and understanding of e-commerce. Content creation is key; you not only can write or translate content, you also can manage a good campaign together with your colleagues.

Part of the content & campaign team, across our offices in NL, SE, UK; the role will be based in our office in Amsterdam (Netherlands) but speaking Dutch is not required.


Tasks

Responsible for German & Austrian (=german language) content & campaigns, in any touchpoint.
Main KPI: Brand, Campaign success, reach
Supporting Kpis: CR, AOV NPS, Traffic, Margins, LTV
Responsible for ensuring that targets set by yourself together with the team are met
Analyzing web statistics and deriving actions, focussed on content & campaigns
On- and off-site content creation such as writing copy, articles, translations and writing content for other marketing activities such as affiliate, social media, SEA and CRM (e.g. emails, sms)
Create SEO optimized content
Translations of product & campaign content from English into German
Strategic planning together with e-ecommerce manager for the business in the German & Austrian market.
Working with UX, CRO to improve content quality
Supports Partner Manager on communication with partners


Requirements

You are “online”, agile.
Fluent in German & English – preferable native German or Austrian or with work experience with German/Austrian market. Dutch is not required.

Structured, with great attention to detail.
Able to write great text, but also able to manage a campaign
An enthusiastic team player and the ability to work alone where required
Experience with Google Analytics or similar.
